Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan actor from Bahrain's Manama was raised in an ethnically diverse family. Jacqueline Fernandez's mother Kim and father Elroy are both Malaysians. She played badminton at the national championships when she was an teen, but she gave her sports career up to become a model. Padukone's native language is Konkani. She is Mangalorean by origin. Padukone is a village in the Kundapura Taluk of Karnataka's Udupi District. Prakash Padukone was a badminton legend who retired in the 1980s. The mother of her daughter, a travel agency also comes from this village.
